Hey guys, I recently got this little missing feature working in Transmission. The following procedure will make your Mac automatically shut down when alldownloads complete. Linux will be similar except that the shut down commandwill differ in the script :)

- Transmission Mac Shutdown After Downloading
- Transmission Mac Shutdown After Download Windows 10
Download PowerChute Personal Edition - Shutdown your system efficiently by turning to this lightweight application that features support for various power management modules. Similarly, a task can be configured to stop all torrents and then close the program or even shutdown the computer. Obviously if you set up a task to start, stop or limit etc, then an opposite task needs to be configured to provide the reverse effect, eg; if you set up a task to begin downloading at 11PM every night, you will also need another.
The following procedure depends on the Transmission API, so be sure turn on theweb admin interface under Remote Download zoom apo for mac. Java jdk download mac os. in the Transmission preferences, listeningon (default) port 9091.
Now, create a virtualenv and install transmissionrpc:
(Naturally, you’ll need to install virtualenv first. I did this using aHomebrew install of Python and then simply running pip install virtualenv).
Tip: Don’t create your virtualenv in a directory with spaces, I tried :)
Create the Shut Down script:
